She’s into boats for sale in Philippines business and she has been using social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook to promote her products. “These social networking sites should be sensitive to the needs of its users to gain more,” Grant added.

These past few days social networking sites has been rolling out developments and has been announcing for more. Some users prefer the old platform while others embraced the new ones wholeheartedly. Facebook will be introducing soon their ‘timeline’ to the public while they already change some features in their users’ homepage. They also added a ticker box in the right side of the homepage to keep you posted on what your friends are up to in real time. Twitter also added an ‘activity’ button in their timeline which is doing similar function with Facebook’s ticker box.

Just recently Twitter’s CEO Dick Costolo, announced to an event in the San Francisco that they will be introducing a whole new Twitter in the coming days. The service will feature tabs at the top of the screen that let users more easily access their home pages, connect with others and discover new content, they said.

“As other services tack feature after feature after feature on top of each other, we’re going to go in an entirely different direction and offer simplicity in a world of complexity,” Costolo said. “This new Twitter is really a foundation for us,” he added.

Costolo also added that Twitter’s Timeline feature will be 500 percent faster than three or four months ago along with some changes in the user’s page.
