World Cup Final 2010 Results and Highlights: Spain Won World Cup Final – The 2010 FIFA World Cup finals was already finished. It was a very exciting match as both Spain and Netherlands did their best to win this game. However, this World Cup final match was not for Netherlands as Spain won with a final score of 1-0.

The game started with both Spain and Netherlands wanting to make their very first goal to get the lead. Unfortunately, no one from them got to score a goal during the first half of the match. Several football players were given a yellow card – Persie (Netherlands), Puyol (Spain), Bommel (Netherlands), Ramos (Spain), and De Jong (Netherlands).

The second half started and once again, both Spain and Netherlands gave their best to score a goal but to no avail. The match was extended because still, the score was 0-0until the 115th minute. The whole world were surprised in the 116th minute as Spain made its first and only successful goal through Iniesta. Iniesta was the man!!

Fabregas played the ball to Iniesta inside the box. The Barcelona man still had a work to do but he controlled it into his path and fired it across Stekelenburg from Netherlands and into the net. That was the winning goal for Spain!

The game was ended during the 121st minute without a goal for Netherlands thereby declaring Spain as the winner and champion of the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals! Congratulations to Spain! This was the first time Spain won a World Cup title!
