July 5, 2010 was a big buzz in the internet particularly with the film Back to the Future. As you may have probably known, Back to the Future was a big hit before in the 1980s. It was a film which featured a time travel machine where the character Marty McFly was sent 30 years back from the year 1985 to the year 1955. It became a sensation back then that the film grossed about $380 million worldwide upon its release.

Having said that, the date July 5, 2010 was reported to be the future time of the film back then. This statement became an instant trending topic in the internet particularly in Twitter and Google as it was searched by a lot of people worldwide who wanted to confirm if July 5, 2010 was really the future time indicated in the movie.

Unfortunately, it was already confirmed that it was just a hoax as the guys from Total Film admitted that they released a photoshopped image of the Delorean dashboard to support the claim that July 5, 2010 was the future time in the film.

In fact, the claim that July 5, 2010 was just edited was supported by World Correspondents which featured some movie stills just to disprove the earlier claim that it was indeed a future time in Back to The Future movie. In addition, the author Naomi Larkin even recorded a part of the movie in which July 5, 2010 was nowhere to be found among the destination times in the movie.
