Kellog’s Cereal Recall: Fruit Loops Included in Recall

Several Kellog’s cereal brand names were included in the recall such as Corn Pops, Honey Smacks, Froot Loops and Apple Jacks.

Several consumers complained vomiting and nausea after consuming Kellog’s cereal. They also observed the cereals to have an uncharacteristic off-flavor and smell coming from the liner in the package. Kellog’s CEO, David Mackay released an official statement regarding this recall that says: “We apologize to our consumers and our customers and are working diligently to ensure that the affected products are rapidly removed from the marketplace.”
It is advisable to all parents out there not to give any Kellog’s cereal to your kids until this recall has been lifted. For those of you who have already bought these cereals, Kellog’s announced that for those consumers seeking for a refund, they can call to the Kellogg Consumer Response Center from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern time.
The company assured its customers worldwide that they are taking the necessary investigations on what could be the possible cause of this.
