PlayStation “Move” Out on September

In the increasingly competitive gaming console market, Sony announced that its PlayStation motion-sensor system for the PS3 called “Move” will hit the stores in September. The “Move” is a move to rival the monopoly of the Nintendo Wii.

Sony made this announcement at the Electronic Expo in Los Angeles. Giant company Sony said that it will go on sale on September 19 in North America. They also made a long but cool presentation on how the system works. They used “Tiger Woods PGA Tour” to emulate golf shots and waved a wand to zap, freeze or fry goblins in in the new game called “Sorcery.”

According to them, this new sensor system is the most superior of them all! It would be able to mimic in-game items more precisely from what the player is doing with the game controller.

“It will be the closest thing you’ve ever experienced to physically being in the game itself,” said Kazuo Hirai, president of Sony Computer Entertainment.

The release on September is a strategical marketing move by Sony to preempt Microsoft Kinect’s release due on November 4.
